Tattoos on the Heart

I just finished this book by Gregory Boyle.  I sat down mid day today and could not put it down.  What a great use of a Sunday afternoon.  This book is one of the best I have read in a really long time.  Powerful, emotional, inspiring - are just some of the words that come to mind immediately.  I am awe inspired  and filled with hope after reading this.  It is a beautiful recount of the stories and people that have filled a Jesuit Priest's life throughout his work with gangs in LA.  Talk about compassion and love - this man is a testimony to the greatness and power that love has.  I am looking forward to reading it again in a few days or week when it all begins to sink in.

Tattoos on the Heart

I just started reading a book called Tattoos on the Heart by Gregory Boyle.  It was recommended to me by a co worker and all I can say so far is wow.  It is amazing - one of those books that just changes the way you think about things.  I can't wait to finish it...but can't wait to enjoy the rest of it first.
